- We register voters and defend voting rights.

- We educate citizens about their rights and responsibilities.
- We sponsor candidate forums as well as public issue forums.
- We study issues in order to arrive at member consensus.
- We take action by lobbying, testifying, and educating legislators on issues we care about.
- We take action on issues as a nonpartisan body.
- We do not support or oppose candidates or parties.
As a local league, we are not participating actively in the League studies involving campaign finance and money in politics, but all members are welcome to get involved through the state or national league, and to join other local leagues that are holding open meetings on these issues. Go here for a master calendar of consensus meetings that other local leagues are holding.
As always, thank you for your membership and your support.
